Athena Sarracini - Long Wave

Reflections: The blue in my work represents the sea and the sky, water and air, and the wave motif reflects life’s ebbs and flows. A wave swells, and then it settles, nothing is ever permanent. Exaggerated proportions bring humour and whimsy to my work. In Long Wave I played with an elongated sphere; fill it with lemons, sea shells or nothing at all.
