Vision
ANNE-SOPHIE VALLÉE is a multi-disciplinary artist and jeweller from Sherbrooke, Quebec. Her first exposure to the metalsmithing fundamentals was in 2008, in Taxco, Mexico. She earned a collegial degree in Craft with focus on jewellery from Cégep du Vieux-Montréal in partnership with the School of Jewellery of Montreal in 2011. In 2016, she graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University, Halifax, with a BFA in Jewellery Design and Metalsmithing. Vallée is a former artist-in-resident from the Harbourfront Center’s Craft and Design Residency program. She is currently an MFA candidate in the Jewelry and Metalsmithing program at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island.
ANNE-SOPHIE VALLÉE est une artiste multi-disciplinaire originaire de Sherbrooke, Québec, dont la pratique oscille entre le bijou contemporain et la sculpture. Elle s’initie d’abord aux techniques de base de la joaillerie en 2008 dans la ville de Taxco, au Mexique. En 2011, elle complète une technique d’étude collégiale en métier d’art option joaillerie au Cégep du Vieux-Montréal en partenariat avec l’École de joaillerie de Montréal. Anne-Sophie obtient en 2016 un Baccalauréat en Arts Plastiques avec majeure en joaillerie et orfèvrerie du Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University, en Nouvelle-Écosse. Elle est une ancienne artiste-en-résidence du Harbourfront Center à Toronto. Actuellement, Anne-Sophie est candidate à la maîtrise au Rhode Island School of Design à Providence au Rhode Island.
