Vision
ALEXANDRA VAZQUEZ is a multidisciplinary artist and founder of Atelier AVA, specializing in handcrafted textile art for interiors. After an initial career in the aerospace industry, she embraced her passion for creative expression, exploring fields like drawing, sewing, and woodworking. Her journey led her to tufting, where she found a perfect balance between craft and art, and she has dedicated herself to it ever since.
For the past year, Alexandra has developed Atelier AVA, creating unique textile works that bring warmth, texture, and character to any space. Her pieces—ranging from custom wall art to bespoke rugs—are crafted primarily from natural wool, emphasizing both sustainability and quality. Alexandra’s work is deeply inspired by the textures of natural materials and the surrounding landscapes of the Laurentians, inviting viewers to experience art that is both visual and tactile, adding a distinct, contemporary touch to homes and public spaces alike.
